It's time again to kick tractor tires and review seed prices: The Greater Peoria Farm Show opens a three-day run at the Peoria Civic Center today.
- Downstate tire dealer buys Cole Muffler (The Post-Standard)
A Downstate tire dealer has purchased the Syracuse-based Cole Muffler Brake chain. Mavis Discount Tire, based in Westchester County, operates 70 stores in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Mavis bought Cole from Baldwinsville businessman Don Cole for an undisclosed sum.
