After a treacherous Sunday on the roads, people are packing into tire shops. On Sunday night, ice and blowing snow caused several accidents along the Front Range. Drivers also reported taking several hours to get from Colorado Springs to Monument.

While the Valley Stream Wal-Mart has become a national symbol for the excesses of Black Friday, shoppers have returned to the store where a seasonal worker was trampled to death in a stampede.
- Downstate tire dealer buys Cole Muffler (The Post-Standard)
A Downstate tire dealer has purchased the Syracuse-based Cole Muffler Brake chain. Mavis Discount Tire, based in Westchester County, operates 70 stores in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Mavis bought Cole from Baldwinsville businessman Don Cole for an undisclosed sum.
